INTRODUCTION
Perched on one of the most sought-after oceanfront lots on the Sunshine Coast, The Landing was designed to make the most of its setting. With sweeping views of Howe Sound, the home’s orientation, layout, and structure were all tailored to frame the natural surroundings and create a relaxed yet refined retreat.
Built by Lincoln Construction and designed by Gnar Inc., this contemporary four-bedroom custom home blends clean architectural lines with coastal durability—resulting in a modern residence that feels both elevated and grounded.
INSIGHT
The homeowners came to this project with a clear vision: a home that embraced the landscape, elevated the everyday, and made space for both quiet moments and shared experiences.
Working alongside Gnar Inc., we translated that vision into a home where craftsmanship and comfort go hand in hand. While the views and architectural details draw the eye, equal attention was paid to the envelope, build performance, and long-term durability—ensuring the home is as resilient as it is beautiful.

With Luxe Kitchens cabinetry, custom millwork, and high-end finishes throughout, precision was non-negotiable. We coordinated closely with trades to ensure fit, finish, and flow across all interior elements.

A significant portion of the build involved site preparation and custom retaining wall construction—blending form and function to support the home’s structural needs and visual presence..
Efficient Envelope, Durable Details
Insulation, air sealing, and exterior cladding were carefully selected to protect against coastal moisture and seasonal temperature swings—without compromising the home’s clean aesthetic
