The Lincoln Construction Way

Building homes is our passion, it’s as simple as that.

Lincoln Construction is designing and building high-quality homes that exceed the expectations of our clients through efficiency and experienced craftsmanship. From the start, we’ve sought to pursue excellence in everything we do, from custom home builds to residential renovations, we’re committed to delivering positive construction practices and project management.

Our innovative philosophy has guided us in seeking out opportunities to incorporate passive building into the construction industry, allowing us to craft some of the best passive homes in B.C. and create a new generation of building practices. We bring innovative techniques, believing that our company stands out from the rest by providing unmatched communication, ongoing research into new building science, and the implementation of advanced technologies into our projects. Our Habitat for Humanity collaborations is just a small nod to the differences we’re making in this world.

When you choose Lincoln, you choose a company that will be with you every step of the building journey, providing a seamless and collaborative experience to ensure the final product is something that makes your dreams come true. We’re a team created of exceptionally skilled employees who are devoted to executing thorough, sustainable, and thoughtful practices with every given project.

+ Erik LINCOLN | Founder/ Project manager

Erik grew up on the Sunshine Coast and fell in love with building homes at a very young age. In most of his childhood photos, he can be seen holding some form of tool. At 21 years old, Erik was certified as a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter, subcontracting for the larger construction companies on the Sunshine Coast to build his experience and knowledge base. After 17 years in the industry completing hands-on work, Erik stepped out of his carpentry role to incorporate his own company and establish the Lincoln name along the Sunshine Coast.

His avid determination and strong work ethic have allowed him to bring his vision to life in crafting a company with a focus on superior quality, strong communication, and innovative building technology, creating lasting trade partner relationships along the way. Erik is a testament to the successful company he has built, continuing to push the boundaries in the industry.

When he’s not working, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife, Terri, and two young children, Kaden and Sophie. He’s also developed several outdoor passions with local ventures including downhill mountain biking, snowboarding, and scuba diving.

+ Terri Fromager | Office Manager

Terri grew up on the Sunshine Coast, moving to Burnaby to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree with Honours. She pursued specialized nursing in critical, emergency care, and forensics, before shifting gears and navigating administrative and office management with her partner and founder of Lincoln Construction, Erik. Terri has excelled in her position and has taken on the role of hiring and training our office administrative team, leading the way to streamline our current processes and overseeing the day-to-day operations. She is often the one on the other end of emails, communicating regularly with many of our clients and suppliers.

Terri can often be found juggling her workload with her two young kids, Kaden and Sophie in tow, and loves to be at the beach or taking walks in the forest.

+ KALE ANGUS | Project Manager

Kale has worked in high-end renovation and restoration projects for over two decades. After retiring his tool belt, he helped manage the client end of his family-owned business, aiding his brother to grow from a one-crew company to six crews with multiple ongoing projects. Now into his second year with Lincoln, Kale has been instrumental in helping us build beautiful custom homes and renovations, with a focus on pre-construction work, permitting and managing projects. His easy-going nature and strong communication skills make him a huge asset to our team.

Frequenting the Coast since his grandparents moved to Halfmoon Bay in 1991, Kale loved it so much that he moved his own wife (Jutta) and 2 of 3 children (Ellinor and Aston) out here from Finland five years ago, while his third child Olivia remains in Finland.

Cameron was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast and has lived from one end to the other, which makes him an expert when it comes to this beautiful area. Spending much of his youth fixing vehicles, Cameron gained a strong work ethic through helping his dad work on the Inlet Raider. Erik and Cameron worked together prior to the incorporation of Lincoln Construction, where Cameron was given the opportunity to build a strong skill set in the construction industry. He’s now a valuable asset to our team.

Alongside his partner Carley, Cameron lives in Pender Harbour and enjoys spending time off exploring the trails with their dog, recharging at the lake, and visiting with family.

+ BLAIR KEELING | Project Manager

Blair started out at Lincoln Construction swinging a hammer as one of the site crew and now enjoys the diverse role of Project Manager. Blair is a gas fitter by trade, though he grew up building and renovating homes from an early age. He has a keen interest in high-performance, low-energy, durable construction and enjoys educating himself about different methods of applying the latest high-performance products. His strong communication, attention to detail, and high-quality standards make him an absolute asset at Lincoln.

Originally from Nova Scotia, he moved to the West Coast with his wife eight years ago and they welcomed a baby girl in early 2022. He’s now eagerly awaiting the day she can pick up a hammer.

+ KELSEY MACLEAN | Office Administrator

Kelsey grew up in North Vancouver and obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Art History from the University of British Columbia. Kelsey built up 10 years of experience managing an independent book store and art gallery, gaining skills in task prioritization, organization, and customer care. She and her partner Michael decided it was time for a change, and it was just our luck that she made the move to the Sunshine Coast. They share a beautiful son Connor and family dog Eleanor.

We are so fortunate that Kelsey chose to join our administrative team, where she's able to put her experience and knowledge base to great use.

+ NICK CHARLTON | Lead Foreman

Nick is a lead foreman and has been working with Lincoln since our incorporation, having worked with Erik previously. He’s a strong individual we can rely on to produce extremely high-quality work while maintaining an upbeat and positive work environment. Nick brings a strong background in the construction industry, having worked as a carpenter for over 20 years, excelling in his leadership roles. Nick obtained his Red Seal as a Journeyman Carpenter and utilizes his vast skill set every day on the job. His easy nature and strong work ethic make him a dream to work with.

Having spent four years working in Japan completing wood framing and another four years in the Cayman Islands as a supervisor, Ken comes to us with a diverse construction background. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with him, which is evident in the superior interior finish work he completes.

Ken has a deep love of fishing and spending time on his boat as well as snowboarding in our local coastal mountains.

Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and having worked across five different industries, Alyssa brings a diverse array of knowledge and skills to her role at Lincoln. She honed her aptitude for organization, management, and communication during her seven years as the administrative manager for a small business. While she greatly enjoyed managing moving parts in that role, Alyssa yearned for more opportunities to collaborate with colleagues. In her search she found Lincoln, and since joining our project management team, hasn't looked back.

Alyssa came to the coast to be in closer proximity to nature and spends much of her free time exploring our local forests and waterways with her partner, Natalie.
